Hey! I realise its a bit late, but I thought I'd give the questionnaire a go too! (good idea to keep the blog going Baker :))

1) What is your favourite word?
Flourish! sounds cool and I like the meaning..
Or, do Croatian words count? I like the word "zglob" so fun to say! it means "wrist" or "joint".

2)What is your least favourite word?
ooze - it both looks and sounds strange.

3)What turns you on, creatively, spiritually emotionally?
Hmm, I'll have to agree with Matt, in that I don't much like the wording of this question but never mind. I love drawing and sketching when you properly get into it and forget everything else, great music and good peeps and conversations. :D

4)What turns you off?
Spitting. just... BLEEUURRRGHH. No.

5) What is your favourite curse word?
Poo. Classic! :D

6) What sound or noise do you love?
Crickets

7) What sound or noise do you hate?
When you scratch the type of plasticy stuff that raincoats are made from.

8) What profession other than your own, would you like to attempt?
Working at Weta workshop on the Lord of the Rings or the Hobbit! Or working on a film.

9) What profession would you not like to do?
Those people who check all the tickets on the tram, or a doctor, or working in a morgue.

10) If heaven exists, what would you like to hear God say when you arrive at the Pearly Gates?

Pivot questions tiem!

1. What is your favorite word?

   How is this a question when there are words like Armageddon, Behemoth, Goliath and Anatodieaphobia    (or however the hell you spell it)

2. What is your least favorite word?

   Any word that the Americans shoved a 'z' in place of the 's'.

3. What turns you on creatively, spiritually or emotionally?

Jake... O_O loljks =P
I think music definitely fits all those categories =P

4. What turns you off?

   Society...

5. What is your favorite curse?

   In broad yorkshire "Don't be a bastard!"

6. What noise do you love?

   The sound of a hydraulic piston-driven drawer closing... that '.......tt' awwww yeah!!

7. What noise do you hate?

   Justin Beiber... followed closely by dubstep

8. What profession would you like to have?

   Strangely a story writer of some description, prolly for games n stuff... that or be in the most awesome prog metal band of all time =P

9. What profession would you not like to have?

   Professional sportsman... as much as I like certain sports, I like free time =P

10. If heaven exists, what would you like God to say to you at the gates?

   Because heaven is a figment of imagination to give the false impression of an illogical realm created to fulfill the needs of an ancient belief, God would have to say "da fuq is wrong with you? '_."

The Pivot Questionnaire

Yeah, I noticed the stagnation too, but I didn't want to write something because I was the last person that posted, and two posts in a row seemed wrong to me. I guess January exams (and my three month long coursework nightmare) distracted people.

1. What is your favourite word? - Bethesda, for all the awesomeness.
2. What is your least favourite word? - It has to be the "patriarchy" I hear enough of that on tumblr, and it drives me insane -.-
3. What turns you on, creatively, spiritually or emotionally? - I like drawing people, figures, facial expressions and stuff like that. 
4. What turns you off? - Hipsters and sheep. Like something simply because you like it. Form your own opinions, people! This goes for politics too, not just pop culture.
5. What is your favourite curse word? - Bollocks.
6. What sound or noise do you love? - An orchestra building and building and building...
7. What sound or noise do you hate? - When the knife or fork scrapes across the plate and squeaks :/
8. What profession, other than your own, would you like to attempt? - Illustrator, animator, concept artist or something like that.
9. What profession would you not like to do? - Nurse, just no. I'm not caring enough to deal with all that.
10. If Heaven exists, what would you like to hear God say when you arrive at the Pearly Gates? – "You can be anything you want to be now. You can have the body you want and the people you love around you. I'll leave you in peace. Enjoy."

Ok, so I'm considering writing a very serious post soon. Would people want that or shall I keep it more fun?

The Pivot Questionnaire

Hey guys, I've noticed that no-one has posted anything since November. That's a whole 4 months, seems we're getting a tiiiny bit behind XD
 
So, to try to kickstart us up again, I've decided that, before the end of the month, we each need to do something to get back in the game... er, blog. And having thought long and hard for about 5 minutes, I thought that it would be interesting for everyone to have a go at answering the Pivot Questionnaire.
 
If you have no idea what that is, there's an American TV show called "Inside the Actors Studio", where actors get interviewed at the Actors Studio Drama School in New York. At the end of every interview they're asked this set of questions, which were originally used by a French interviewer called Bernard Pivot on one of his shows. It's quite an interesting set, so I thought I'd give it a go.

1.       What is your favourite word? – Hippopotomonstrosesquipedaliophobia. Purely for the look on someone’s face when they get diagnosed with it.

2.       What is your least favourite word? – Won’t, it makes no sense to me that it’s an abbreviation of ‘will not’.

3.       What turns you on, creatively, spiritually or emotionally? – Talking to myself. If I’m writing something, like a novel or a script, I always talk through the dialogue by myself to make sure it sounds like a real conversation. Somehow that became a thing I do.

     ... I’m not crazy.

4.       What turns you off? – Anything on MTV that isn’t music, I just shut down when I see it. And sometimes the music on there too.

5.       What is your favourite curse word? – A broad Yorkshire “Fook off”.

6.       What sound or noise do you love? – Any noise that breaks absolute silence.

7.       What sound or noise do you hate? – Absolute silence.

8.       What profession, other than your own, would you like to attempt? – Time traveller. ’nuff said.

9.       What profession would you not like to do? – Game tester. Not reviewer or player, but the guy who jumps in the same spot 5000 times to see if the game glitches. I would never want to grow to hate video games.

10.   If Heaven exists, what would you like to hear God say when you arrive at the Pearly Gates? – We have everything set up like you wanted, go nuts.

Well, at least that broke the 4-month blog-post famine =P
